What is THE FINAL PIECE - STRETCH AND RELEASE?
 
This course aims to educate you on the difference between a cool down and a stretch and how to create a range of different stretches to cater for different class formats.
 
What do you expect to learn from THE FINAL PIECE - STRETCH AND RELEASE online course?
 
When you have delieverd a workout that has your class sweating and smiling, it is now time to finish this workout with stretch that you will be proud of. You will learn why a cool down is necessary as a transition between sections of the class as well as how to put together a stretch sequence that not only delivers an effective muscular release but adds the final polish to your workout.  
 
How long do I have access to the course materials?
 
You have lifetime access to any of the online courses. So you can go back and review the whole course anytime you want.
 
How long will it take me to complete THE FINAL PIECE - STRETCH AND RELEASE online course?
 
Everyone learns differently and it depends on how much time you have available to study and practice on a daily basis. Taking all of this into account, this course can be completed in three hours. 
  
What can I teach after completing this online course?
 
You will be able to develop your own stretches, whether that be a five minute stretch at the end of your workout or a complete stretch class. We recommend also completing Choreography and Flow and The Art of the Start so that you are able to plan the rest of your class. 
 
What do I need to do after completing THE FINAL PIECE - STRETCH AND RELEASE?
 
Make sure you plan and practice your teaching and delivery skills on your own and with other people. Watching the videos will not teach you the skills until you physically practice teaching a cool down and a stretch sequence. If teaching a group fitness class is a goal, then being able to do this in front of others is essential to be able to concentrate on several skills at the same time without being distracted.
  
Is there an assessment as part of THE FINAL PIECE - STRETCH AND RELEASE online course?
 
There is an assessment at the end of the course compromising of 15 multiple choice and true/false questions. You will need to achieve 90% to pass the assessment in order to attain your certificate of completion. You can take the test as often as you need to be able to complete the course. 
 
Will I receive a certificate of completion at the end?
 
Yes, after completing the assessment at the end of the course, you will receive an automatic email from us with your digital certificate of completion via email. Make sure you type your name as you would like it in your certificate of completion.
 
Are there continuing education credits
Yes - at the completion of this online course, you will receive the following credits:
Fitness Australia - 2 CEC's
REPS New Zealand - 3 CPD's
Fitrec Points - 30
 
Are there other courses I can do with My Group Move?
 
Our recommendation is to continue on and complete the Communication and Connection online course. This course will teach you how to engage with your participants and expertly communicate your choreography, moves and routines during the workout. The Move to the Beat online course will teach you how to listen and use music effectively.
